The sandals would be identified in accompanying literature as an authentic copy of the sandals worn by Jesus and his disciples more than 2,000 years ago, based on research by scholars. The sandals would carry a legend stamped into the front strape saying, "I walk in my Master's shoes." At low cost a small leather string could attach a small cross or other Christian symbol to the sandals. Perhaps a long leather thong could be included with instructions on how to weave it into an arm or leg bracelet matching the sandals.
