Hi Dennis and RFQ Inquiry (采购产品): Hi Dennis and RFQ Hi Dennis! How are you and Sue? We are finally warming up a bit after a long winter. Supposedly it snowed here twice as much as is normal. Unfortunately our funding for the compression strength testing work has dwindled down completely, however I thought that you may wish to quote on this work. I don't know if it is up your alley. If it isn't and you know others who would like to quote please let me know. So far I have found and requested from SPS Tech, QFI Fasteners, and Timken. ____________________________________ We are requesting pricing & delivery information for the following two items: Socket Head Cap Screws 1) 1/4" -20 x 1 1/4 " long - quantity total 1320, with 70 in June (if possible) 2) 1/4" -20 x 1 1/2 " long - quantity total 1100, with 60 in June (if possible) Materials: Materials with a Tensile Strength greater than or equal to 180 ksi with Excellent corrosion resistance (no plating). Materials identified so far: INCONEL 718 (AMS 5662), A286 (AMS 5726), AEREX 350, INCONEL 718 (AMS 5962), MP 35N (AMS 5844), MP 159 (AMS 5842) Any material selection advice is welcomed! Here is our environment: Our temperature range is low! 32 to 200 degrees F The screws need to have at least a 180 ksi tensile strength and not corrode. Our device will be operating in a salt water environment. The 1 1/4" long screws will be passing through CRES QQ-S-763 COND A, passivated per ASTM A967 and threaded into Corrosion resistant austenitic SS per MIL-STD 867 Type III (ASTM: A351-52T Type CF-8M). The 1 1/2" long screws will be passing through Corrosion resistant Steel 316L per SAE AMS-QQ-S-763, passivated per ASTM A967 and threaded into CRES QQ-S-763 COND A, passivated per ASTM A967. Loctite will also be used for each. I am in the office this week. The following two weeks (9-12th and 16-20th) I am on business travel and will most likely not have access to email but will be able to pick up phone messages!
