Inquiry (采购产品): samples request Dear Mr. Frost In the past years we have bought from Supercon several km formvar insulated NbTi wire. We are now interested to improve the loss of our superconducting coils. This could be achieved with other insulating materials like ISOMID (polyester-enamel), ML (polyimide-enamel) and KAPTON (polyimide). To evaluate the loss angle of these insulating materials at cryogenic temperatures we need just 10 meters of superconducting NbTi wire (if possible 75 micron diam.). Can you provide samples of this wire with the mentioned above insulations (at least 10 meters for each of the three insulating materials)? We will test them at 4.2 K and let you know measurement technique and results. If the results will be interesting we will buy some km of wire.
