We stretch a polyester mesh across aluminum frames to create the printing plates for our printing presses. A team of Purdue University students performed process analysis and recommended purchasing aluminum frames with an extruded core to minimize frame bowing during the stretching process. Our most common frames measure 82" X 156". My current need is to purchase 60 frames measuring 82" X 125", frame width has been 4" wide by 1.5" deep.
